Really good Sauvignon is the exception in Germany. The time of harvest is very important for this grape variety. If the harvest is too early, you get unripe and green notes, if you are too late, the fruit becomes obtrusively fat. At Thörle they can deal with it, as this wine shows impressively. It is lively, fresh and with good body, without being too intense, aromatic clearly a Sauvignon Blanc, but a fine one. That's how it is done!
