The El Jardin de la Emperatriz blanco is made from the Viura grape variety, which is common in Rioja for white wines. 80% of the vines here are already over 60 years old. This gives complexity and depth to this Rioja, which is stylistically a fresh type and was therefore matured in concrete tanks and not in wooden barrels. The grapes were harvested by hand.
The white Jardin de Emperatriz has an exotic and fresh scent, with a delicate floral note in the background. On the palate it finds a very good balance between liveliness and fullness of flavor, and is precise and long-lasting in the finish, which is characterized by animating minerality. A modern white Rioja, perfect craftsmanship.
