The winery Cellers Avgvstvs Forvm has a remarkable success story. Founded around 30 years ago, the winery now exports wines to 40 countries. In addition, the Augustus Forum wines are featured on many wine lists of top Spanish restaurants.
The winery takes its name from the Via Augustus from Roman times, which led through this country.
Avgvstvs Forum grows its vines organically and also uses modern containers such as concrete eggs during aging to give the wines their own character. The focus is on local vines such as Xarel-lo, Malvasia de Sitges, Macabeu, Garnatxa or Ull de llebre, but also on internationally popular varieties such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot.
In addition to the excellent wines, Augustus Forum is also famous for its wine vinegars.
